The First Recipe...Cheddar Bay Biscuits AKA Red Lobster Biscuits


Well, I had this grand idea to make the "Red Lobster" biscuits from scratch to go with dinner and got home and didn't have enough flour.  Since I did so much baking for the holidays, I apparently used much more than I thought.  So, I ended up using Bisquick as the base, they still turned out yummy.  Also, I have had this recipe before BUT this is the first time I've made it so it still counts.  They are very easy.



4 cups Bisquick
1 1/3 cups water
4 oz shredded sharp cheddar

Mix above until firm, then spoon onto cookie sheet or baking sheet.  Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix the following and brush onto biscuits when they are done baking.

1/2 cup melted butter
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
